           Quality Manager – Garment, Shanghai

This position is for a well known multinational company specialized in sportswear and is based in Shanghai

Responsibilities

• Report to the Technical Director, a British and manage the quality inspection in the factory base in Northern part of China, Cambodia and the Philippines.
• Provide leadership to quality team and vendors on company’s requirements and quality standard.
• Work closely with Merchandising team and technical team to ensure quality inspection be conducted timely both in-line and final inspection.
• Make correct decisions on the inspection result and provide prompt feedback to the relevant parties.
• Conduct Quality training programsto vendors continuously to cope with company’s development.

           Senior Merchandiser – Handbags, Shenzhen (Candidates with less experience will be considered as Merchandiser,

Our client is a well known American fashion company with over 100 staff in its Shenzhen sourcing office.

Responsibilities

• Lead 6 - 12 merchandising team members.
• Manage a group of 3-7 service providers.
• Review costing and work with costing team
• Monitor Commercialization
• Oversee Material Mgt with service providers
• Ensure on time Market Week sample
• Work with Technical Managers on all technical and QA issues.
• Constantly review service provider capabilities and capacity on PD and Production
• Review and support functions of Merchandisers.
• Support visitor travel schedules and meetings.

Requirements

• Diploma or above with at least 5 years of relevant experience in merchandising field and have technical knowledge of handbags and small leather goods.
• Experience in dealing with USA and Asian customers

            Leather Technician – Shenzhen

Responsibilities

• Keep track leather issues and solve the problems.
• Keep track the color standard from the Headquarters in US.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of leather, background in manufacturing Shoes/leather goods preferred,
• Leather cutting would be an advantage.
• Good command of English.
• Need to travel.

            Costing Manager

A world famous Western Sportswear provider is looking for the high qualified individual to join its dynamic international product development and sourcing team in Shanghai or Guangzhou.

Responsibilities

• Set up costing structure system for apparel.
• Analyze costs and work with development team to achieve target costs within established timeline.
• Negotiate with suppliers.
• Teach and coach other teams on building product that meets costing targets.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 year relevant working experience. Well round knowledge on apparel construction, SAM estimation, and marker yield analysis.
• Excellent communication skills both in mandarin and English.
• Degree in apparel manufacturing, industrial engineering or comparable graduation from a textile university.

            Tooling Manager– Athletic Shoes

This position is for a well-known multinational company specialized in sportswear. The position needs to be based in Qingyuan factory. The candidate can live in Guangzhou as there is company bus travel between Qingyuan and Guangzhou daily.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that latest tooling technology is used to develop or commercialize products
• Ensures that the tooling complies with the stated design and development specifications from headquarters.
• Works with mold shops and manufacturers in the continuous upgrade of technical applications and processes and implements them into the tooling facilities.
• Be aware of company's brand mission and customer focus;
• Establishes an efficient tracking system on tooling and tooling related processes with factory and moldshops and ensure meeting timeline.
• Evaluates tech packages, technical drawings etc to check that they have been correctly processed and include all necessary information.
• Evaluates gauges, molds etc to ensure that they meet specifications and company's quality standards.
• Establishes and manages a central filing system for all technical drawings and relevant graded patterns.
• Updates the mold manual; processes incoming information on latest industrial standards; ensures that these standards are evaluated and, if appropriate, adopted into working processes.
• Establishes standards for: mold technology, the grading system, quality check and correct tooling execution, process-oriented procedures, CAD/CAM and software application.
• Initiates and participates in mold/ engineering tear-down meetings and establishes a reporting system for the findings.

Requirements

• Must hold a degree in a post-secondary discipline.
• Three years working experience in a technical engineering/mold making capacity.

            Quality Team Leader– Apparel

This position is for a well known multinational company specialized in sportswear. The position needs to be based in Guangzhou and travel frequently to factories.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Quality Auditors and suppliers to ensure compliance to the company quality standards and produce desired results.
• Provide technical inspections to produce goods according to customer requirements.
• Support the timely resolution of technical issues according to company standard in order to achieve quality and delivery objectives.
• Implement best practices and the introduction of new processes and technologies to support continuous improvement in quality.

Requirements

• Minimum five years experience in apparel manufacturing or quality assurance.
• Degree or certificate in Textile and garment Studies or Textile Engineering, or equivalent related technical experience in the areas of sourcing, bulk production, knitting and printing.
• Ability to identify issues, analyze facts and make quality decisions.
• Strong management and leadership skills

• Manage hardware development center.

• Lead the development team to be the link between project management and suppliers in order to transform written information into real products.
• Work closely together with the Lab and production side in order to produce prototypes which can be manufactured in bulk production.
• Ensure knowledge transfer from the project management side.
• Ensure proper progress of development team.
• Ensure final reference sample approval in time in line with production and related test requirements.

Requirements

            Engineer – Handbags

A well known American handbag sourcing office located in Shenzhen is looking for Development Manager/Developer to join its fast-grown Team.

Responsibilities

• Works with the team to review prototype sample for quality and accuracy.
• Collaborates and supports the team in delivering the presentation samples on time.
• Works to resolve technical issues, make mock-ups and pattern revisions as necessary.
• Completes technical comments and distributes to Factory, Coach Asia and/or CES with a copy to Prod. Development.

Requirements

• Must have extended knowledge on paper pattern ( CAD is not required)
• Handbag manufacturing knowledge is preferred, or dress shoes.
• Sampling experience is a plus
• Problem solving on all technical/ construction issues.
• Report to and coached by one Senior Engineer.
• Required to station at different zones at rotating matter - Zhuhai, Panui, Dougguan, Zhongshan  or Xiamen
